Trail Bottle

$250.00

This piece, skillfully wheel-thrown and accented with hand-attached design elements, pays tribute to the seed bottles created by Northern Native American tribes.

These vessels were ingeniously designed to store and preserve seeds, crucial for sustaining and propagating essential crops over generations.

The addition of loops allows for threading with cord, facilitating easy transport.

Hand-painted black dots symbolize the gathered seeds within and echo the ebb and flow of the trails traveled to collect persimmons, capturing the essence of this ancestral tradition.

Approximate dimensions: 10cm x 9cm

Please bear in mind that this is a completely hand made product. This means there will be slight variations in texture, finish and size. The nature of the technique used means that no two pieces are alike... making each item unique and one of a kind!
