Nebula Loop 102
Named after the swirling clouds where stars are born, Nebula Loop reflects on the primordial cycles of emergence and dissolution.
This wall sculpture invites viewers to contemplate the fragile passage from chaos into form, echoing the improbable unfolding of life from the vastness of the cosmos.
Hand-pressed elements, joined while the clay is still leather-hard, coil around the looped body like bleached bones clinging to objects in the landscape.
Left unglazed, these forms celebrate the raw surface of the white clay, while the loop itself is finished with a textured glaze that sets a striking backdrop for the bone-like elements.
The work becomes a meditation on celestial rhythms and infinite renewal—an endless loop where origins, presence, and absence converge.
Approximate dimensions: 20cm x 5cm
Please bear in mind that this is a completely hand made product. This means there will be slight variations in texture, finish and size. The nature of the technique used means that no two pieces are alike... making each item unique and one of a kind!
