Mini Smoke Bottle

$80.00

This wheel-thrown bottle exemplifies the beauty of the naked raku technique at its finest.

Burnished to a smooth finish before firing, its unglazed surface showcases an erratic design formed by applying horse hair to the piece while it’s still hot.

This process results in striking, one-of-a-kind patterns as the hair scorches against the white clay backdrop.

Although not watertight and intended for display only, this bottle stands as a testament to the naked raku firing process, embodying both fragility and resilience.

Approximate dimensions: 10.5cm x 8cm

Please bear in mind that this is a completely hand made product. This means there will be slight variations in texture, finish and size. The nature of the technique used means that no two pieces are alike... making each item unique and one of a kind!
